Terms and Conditions

(OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia Professional Affiliate Programme)

  1. The list of eligible organisations, associations, institutions and/or corporation is subject to change at the sole discretion of Chery Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“CAMSB”).
  2. In the case of an eligible corporation, the vehicle purchased must be registered under the company name.
  3. In the case of an eligible individual, the vehicle purchased must be registered under the individual's name or that of his immediate family member (spouse, parents or children).
  4. Registration under immediate family member will require documentation proof such as marriage certificate or birth certificate, whichever applicable.
  5. Customer shall submit all required documentations to CAMSB's authorised dealers, failing which the application will not be processed by CAMSB.
  6. Eligible customer shall only be entitled to all the benefits or the purchase of brand-new OMODA & JAECOO vehicle from CAMSB's authorised dealers.
  7. The applicability, computation and allowances of the benefits in each purchase shall be subject to approval by CAMSB at its absolute discretion.
  8. All decisions made by CAMSB are final and no appeals or discussions will be entertained.
  9. CAMSB reserves the right to terminate the Professional Affiliate Programme at any time without prior notice.
  10. By submitting the application to CAMSB's authorised dealers, the customer affirms that he has read, understood, and agreed to the policies in CAMSB's Privacy Policy and consent to his personal data being processed and used by CAMSB as stipulated in the said Privacy Policy in OMODA & JAECOO official website.
  11. These Terms and Conditions may be amended, replaced and/or deleted at any time in CAMSB's sole discretion.

"Devil" Plateau Testing Completed! JAECOO 7 Conquers Chinas "Nujiang 72 Turns"

Following the challenge of the scorching 51℃ temperatures in Turpan and Dunhuang, China, the JAECOO 7's extreme journey continues to the world's roof – the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Climbing the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains, conquering the Nujiang 72 Turns, and overcoming five peaks above 5,000 meters, JAECOO 7 proves its endurance, reliability, and adaptability across multiple terrains in high-altitude regions.


Fearless of "altitude sickness", continuous surge of power online

Those who can conquer the plateau can conquer the world. The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has an average altitude of over 4,000 meters, a world record. In this low-pressure, oxygen-deficient environment, human breathing is severely affected, and it is an even greater test for engines with higher operating speeds and greater oxygen consumption. Cars often exhibit "altitude sickness"because the vacuum speed provided by the engine can't keep up with the vacuum speed consumed by braking.

JAECOO 7 chose the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau for its high-altitude testing, where it faced winding mountain roads, steep high-altitude slopes, and various unpaved road conditions. The stability of the four-wheel-drive and power systems was put to the test. However, despite the complex terrain and harsh environment, JAECOO 7 performed exceptionally well in the power tests. There was no noticeable power loss during high-altitude driving, and it maintained smooth and brisk power output.


Cornering challenge, conquering the Nujiang 72 Turns with stability

During the long journey across the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the "Nujiang 72 Turns," one of the ten most dangerous roads in China, became a dream destination for many off-road enthusiasts. River water, cliffs, sharp turns, slopes... With a total elevation difference of 1,551 meters, the road conditions are treacherous and exciting. Each of the "72 Turns" tests JAECOO 7's performance and endurance. Throughout the journey, loose gravel, potholes, and ditches greatly reduced wheel traction, and the continuous winding roads added to the driving difficulty.

JAECOO 7's ARDIS All-Road Intelligent Off-Road System played a pivotal role in this challenging terrain. With its seven road modes, the system dynamically adjusts vehicle status in real time, demonstrating excellent traction and off-roading capabilities on unpaved surfaces. The W-HUD technology allows drivers to receive driving information, while the transparent chassis enables drivers to view the vehicle's surroundings and undercarriage through the central display screen, both uphill and in narrow sections. In conditions that require frequent braking, the JAECOO 7 braking system, bolstered by an electronic vacuum pump, maintains exceptional braking performance, allowing drivers to control the vehicle confidently, smoothly starting and stopping.
