Terms and Conditions

(OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia Professional Affiliate Programme)

  1. The list of eligible organisations, associations, institutions and/or corporation is subject to change at the sole discretion of Chery Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“CAMSB”).
  2. In the case of an eligible corporation, the vehicle purchased must be registered under the company name.
  3. In the case of an eligible individual, the vehicle purchased must be registered under the individual's name or that of his immediate family member (spouse, parents or children).
  4. Registration under immediate family member will require documentation proof such as marriage certificate or birth certificate, whichever applicable.
  5. Customer shall submit all required documentations to CAMSB's authorised dealers, failing which the application will not be processed by CAMSB.
  6. Eligible customer shall only be entitled to all the benefits or the purchase of brand-new OMODA & JAECOO vehicle from CAMSB's authorised dealers.
  7. The applicability, computation and allowances of the benefits in each purchase shall be subject to approval by CAMSB at its absolute discretion.
  8. All decisions made by CAMSB are final and no appeals or discussions will be entertained.
  9. CAMSB reserves the right to terminate the Professional Affiliate Programme at any time without prior notice.
  10. By submitting the application to CAMSB's authorised dealers, the customer affirms that he has read, understood, and agreed to the policies in CAMSB's Privacy Policy and consent to his personal data being processed and used by CAMSB as stipulated in the said Privacy Policy in OMODA & JAECOO official website.
  11. These Terms and Conditions may be amended, replaced and/or deleted at any time in CAMSB's sole discretion.

JAECOO Tech Day – Unveiling the Secrets of Green Off-Road Driving Pleasure

On October 18, JAECOO “2023 Tech Day” came to a triumphant close. Besides unveiling its latest technological advancements, JAECOO showcased the robust performance of its meticulously engineered products through a series of test rides and drives. Among the lineup, the popular models J7 and J8 became the sought-after choices for test drives, delivering impressive performance in over ten extreme simulated driving scenarios. They earned unanimous acclaim from authoritative experts, global mainstream media, and industry KOLs. Meanwhile, JAECOO’s plug-in hybrid model J7 PHEV, though presented as a static display, became a hot item for appreciation.

JAECOO, a newly established off-road brand, adheres to the brand philosophy of "From Classic, Beyond Classic." It is committed to a daring exploration and an indomitable spirit. With "Off-Road + Green Technology," JAECOO aims to offer users a comprehensive, efficient, and high-performance travel experience, intertwining innovation and extraordinary appeal.

The test ride and drive event were divided into two major areas: the Fantawild test drive field and the Tuju camping ground. Notably, Tuju camping ground, specifically designed for J7’s off-road experience, included various simulated road conditions like crescent high-speed sections, U-turns, S-curves, mini camelbacks, continuous wavy roads, and ultra-high-speed sections. Amidst this multifaceted driving test, drivers indulged in an immersive journey of speed and excitement, with cheers erupting occasionally, and many participants lavished praise upon the J7.

J7 is equipped with JAECOO’s unique ARDIS All-Road Intelligent Off-Road System, featuring seven road modes that dynamically adjust the vehicle's state in real time. Whether navigating urban streets or muddy terrains, the system handles them with finesse. The vehicle also incorporates the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, W-HUD head-up display, 14.8-inch panoramic screen, and 540° transparent chassis, setting a new standard for urban off-road SUVs.

Recently, J8 made a splash in Qatar, naturally becoming a star attraction during the test ride and drive event. Equipped with an all-scenario intelligent four-wheel-drive system and standard 2.0T engine across all models, J8 can effortlessly master seven driving scenarios. Facing stringent tests, J8 exploited its CDC magnetic suspension to adjust the vehicle's posture freely under different loads and road conditions, balancing steadiness, comfort, and exceptional handling. It offered drivers the joy of composed off-roading and showcased the elegance of a luxury SUV.

Besides J7 and J8, the J7 PHEV, a plug-in hybrid vehicle, garnered attention with its static display. Equipped with an 18.3 kWh battery and a 60L large-capacity fuel tank, it boasts a pure electric range of 88km and a fuel consumption of just 5.2L/100km under WLTP conditions, offering a combined range of over 1200km. To alleviate users’ anxiety over the driving range of new energy vehicles, J7 PHEV thoughtfully features a super-fast charging capability, taking less than 20 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%. Media on site expressed their admiration for J7 PHEV’s stunning exterior, interior, and powertrain, highlighting its ability to meet daily urban commutes and its 220V external power output to cater to various electrical needs during outdoor camping, making it the prime choice for off-road and camping enthusiasts.

This test ride and drive event delivered a thrilling and delightful driving experience to all attendees. Concurrently, JAECOO unveiled its new brand user ecosystem, joining hands with global users to explore the green and sustainable development path of JAECOO.
